That was one hell of a deflection by Simmonds...just wrong net

Not sure if I want Jersey to win tonight or not. Rather a long series.

At Bryz.

The only play there, go around the boards...Bryz's play...shoot it at Clarkson so it hits off of him and goes in

New Jersey goal scored by David Clarkson, his second of the postseason, assisted by Ilya Bryazgalov. Clarkson from Bryzgalov.

Watching Philly play this series, I think they should be all in the Ryan Suter free for all this summer. My prediction: Suter to Philly, Parise to the Rangers, and Semin to Detroit.

Pierre went on & on & on about the Rinaldo hit & how much it meant for the Flyers. Well. 2-1 Devils now, yea, meant a lot.

To the LW boards on his forehand or go behind net and backhand around the boards to RW side. Not rocket science Ilya.

I love Parise, but Devils players never work out to well. But Parise is a beast, and if the Rangers pay him big, I will be all for it.

The funny thing is that Marty hasn't looked that great either this series, the Flyers just can't get enough shots on him. If the Rangers can get through, I am licking my chops at a chance to face either one of these goalies.

Parise to the Rangers. That would absolutely require Dubinsky to be dealt. Can you imagine a F unit consisting of:
Center: Richie, Step and Boyle
RW: Gabby, Cally, Prust and Rupp
LW: Kreider, Hags, Parise and AA

Sign a 4th line faceoff specialist to center the fourth line and perhaps another young player to serve as 13th guy.

Jersey is playing much tighter defense though. Philly is playing atrociously in their own end.

People don't think the Rangers have the space for him, but I think the Rangers will make the space if he is genuinely available. They were in on Nash, and had no problem adding his contract. I think they will be on Parise as well. And as for ex-Devils, I think Parise a legit star, and whereas the others guys weren't. I just think alot of these Devils feel the pull of Manhattan, and I wonder whether Parise feels that way as well.

The one thing to consider is sitting this summer out because the 2013 UFA class has the potential to be perhaps the best ever.

Yea, plust Gaborik comes off the books in 2 years. I think Sather is fine with eating another large salary for 2 years. Like you say he was willing to take on Nash's loaded contract.

Plus we don't know for sure what the salary cap landscape will look like once the new CBA is signed. It would be dangerous to spend to the summer cap only to see a substantial decrease in the cap.

I thought with the depth we have that we could afford to let him get some more playing time in Juniors.

Maybe. But no need to rush him if there is any question on his readiness. Bottom line is I completely trust the organization to make the right call. A lot of fans were critical of the Rangers signing Kreider and adding him to the mix now instead of letting him go through camp with the team next season and work him in slowly. Well, he may only have three points in the postseason but I could see us out of the playoffs were it not for his contributions.

I think Zidlicky caused his own injury by burying his head as he turned his back but did the Flyers fans actually boo him when he got back on his feet, holy shyt what a classless city.

Well I guess the Flyers will now take them down 1 by 1, over/under on how many Flyers are left on the bench by the end? I say 6
