JR is an idiot. I loved him as a player, except with Flyers, but doesn't know much of what he's talking about.
They're tough. Especially Zubs and Volchy. Those guys take a beating every game. Same with Salvy. Can't believe how many times they get hit per game.
Also, somebody on twitter pointed out that in the first round the highest pick we can get now is 27th. Looks like we're forfeiting it this year. - Pomegrant
I actually think the highest we can get is 28, since we had more points than Pheonix and LA. |

I was surprised the best player in the world couldn't score from the press box. - Pomegrant

Does it matter? Its a conference finals. Both teams will be prepared, primed and ready to go. The Devils missed the playoffs last year, hit 100+ points this season, and are now in the conference finals. DeBoer is the man. Screw the Adams trophy, just happy to be here.

you guys seemed to get better as the year went on. Taking nothing away from the Rangers since they were great as well. |

Spot on.
A Devils/Ranger would take this rivalry to the next level. If I had it my way, this would be the Cup Final! |

I also think the Devils got better as Kovalchuk/Parise got into a groove. |

I wasn't too excited about the switch in lines Pete did at the beginning of the series but i was wrong. Pete as much as I criticize him has done more than I expected from him. He is an excellent coach that motivates the team well. Lou deserves a ton of credit for looking to get this guy when everyone figured Hitchcock or someone else for the job. |

Agreed. Combination of great moves by Lou and some great coaching by Pete (and the rest of the staff for that matter.) |

I remember most of us were pissed at how long Lou took to hire a coach this past offseason, well worth the wait. |

Is home ice in SCF determined by seeding or points?
Like if the Devils and PHX played, who gets home-ice? |

Really. - _Zippy_
We're not arrogant Flyers fans. No one gets ahead of themselves. One game at a time, one series at a time. The Devils are playing at a really high level right now, best of the entire season and playoffs. A huge opponent awaits in the Caps and especially the Rangers (and we all know the bragging rights associated with the latter). Let's just worry about the task at hand.
Until this point, we haven't faced a goalie on their stride either. Holtby or Henrik would change that dimension of the game incredibly. Time to just be happy and prepare.
