He's been worth every draft pick and player in that trade, and more... I really hope there's nothing serious there. That was the most borderline/major penalty/suspendable of all the dirty crap the Flyers pulled tonight in desperation.

We're not arrogant Flyers fans. No one gets ahead of themselves. One game at a time, one series at a time. The Devils are playing at a really high level right now, best of the entire season and playoffs. A huge opponent awaits in the Caps and especially the Rangers (and we all know the bragging rights associated with the latter). Let's just worry about the task at hand.

Until this point, we haven't faced a goalie on their stride either. Holtby or Henrik would change that dimension of the game incredibly. Time to just be happy and prepare.

Every teams fans get arrogant some times. No question that many Flyers fans were arrogant coming in to this series, and they should be here right now giving their mea culpas.

But, Pens fans were arrogant in the first series against us. And chances are you guys will be a bit arrogant next year. What goes around comes around, and all fans take their turn being arrogant.

Aside from 2001, when they didn't win it all, the Devils were never "supposed" to win and no fan ever deserved or expected it. They just were grateful and cheered like heck. Its pride not ego. Every team has a right to expect more the year after a solid performance, but the Flyers fans acted like a Devils team (separated by one point, and with more wins than the Flyers, mind you) would just roll over. That's the biggest difference in this situation. That's the arrogance that sent them home.

All based on seeding.

Not sure that is accurate. I think for the SCF, it goes by points. Unless the Caps come back to beat the Rangers, I am farily certain that the team representing the East will have home ice. Not sure where I read that, maybe Bob McKenzie on twitter? I remember seeing it from a reputable source.

Congrats. I did ntthink the Devils a shot in hell of advancing. They forechecked and pressured the Flyers with ferocity and they couldnt handle it. It was a clean series and the Devils were better. Great job.

I was so happy at the time Just to give away Foster!! I liked the trade to begin with, you dont just forget how to play hockey, Zids has been solid on the blue line, sure he makes mistakes but doesnt everyone?
