Ummm... What does another Emery mean? Subban is a legit prospect, the fact he is black has nothing to do with anything. - PLindbergh31
Was disappointed when I saw Belleville @ Kingston and they didn't even dress him did see the youngest Subban who is another d-man though. |

If there is an amnesty buyout, I use it on Briere. - Jsaquella
+1 (I wouldn't use it on Bryz - a long contract, but I think it'd be foolish to give up on him after this year alone). |

A third Russian goaltender? I can't fathom it. - PLindbergh31
As nice as it would be to add a goalie to the system they need forwards & d-men of which they have probably 2 forwards to speak about for the future |

You will likely have to fight with the Red Wings for him. - ob18
Really depends on what Lidstrom does. If he retires, I expect Suter to land in Detroit. If not, they won't have a ton of money to spend, they still have to sign Hudler, Holmstrom and Stuart. |

who do we replace Bryzgalov with? plz don't give me some over the hill goalie either or expect those rookies to come in and be lights out.
If anything Bryzgalov showed we can win with him this year, just gotta play better in front of him. there's other contracts with bigger cap hits on this team, I really don;t want to get into that right now though. - JoeRussomanno
but he did play good in march... |

Absolutely. More defensive minded players are needed in a big way. |

If we have to use the amnesty buyout a player to pay Suter his $$$, im all in. The candidates are Pronger, Bryz and Briere? I guess. Im buying out Bryz due to we can stick Pronger on the LTIR.
Replace Bryz with Bob, or make a trade for a goalie, or sign Harding. |

Detriot said they were planning to spend even if he didn't retire & with Suter & Parise the best 2 on the market and little after it I'd bet they make a serious run. |

They have 20M in available Cap space for next Season. That's not including any increase. They have plenty of room to do both.

I think we should forget about any amnesty buyout. Not likely to happen.

Probably with them selecting around #22 more d-men prospects should be available.
But I go best available if it's a goalie I may hedge and still go with a position player. |

You guys would honestly buyout Briere? Ugghh if that happens my dad might put the remote through the TV. |

If there is an amnesty buyout, buyout Bryz, sign Suter, an possibly Harding.
I dont know WTF to do. I want Suter but will the cap allow it?? I also want Vaselevski or Subban... - Sabreshark
Bryzgalov isn't going anywhere for better or worse. Consistency is the key with him. He has shown he can play well, he just has to do it more often. And he needs more help in front of him. |

I argued with you about Briere during the Pens series, because I did think the scales ultimately tipped in his favor considering the series as a whole, but he was absolutely terrible for the most part against New Jersey. I'd probably lean to do the buyout at this point if it came down to it. Maybe I'm fickle |

Seidenberg was a Flyers draft pick was he not? He has really impressed me the last couple of years, he would be a solid addition to both of our blue lines. |

Bobrovsky has done nothing to show hes ready to be a full time starter. If you;re talking about Harding from Minnesota I think we go back to 2010 with our goaltender situation. There isn't a true upgrade available for a longterm in net. Buyout bryz and we're in trouble that's all I'm saying. |
