At first I hated the Caps because I couldnt stand Ovechkin. Now, in his limited role. And seeing this team actually playing defensive hockey. Im cheering for them.

Although I will say its strictly from an underdog point of view. I love to see underdogs go deep.

Just watched Torts press conf., he was the same as he's been all yr, just bigger stage & more people watching. Never comments on ind players, so why the uproar. I mean have people just not paid attention all season? We would love to see him comment on lines etc., but not in his make up.

We played like poop. The caps were the better team and earned a win tonight.

That said, if not for a bad deflection for the caps second goal who knows where we are.

Point is, this was our worst effort of the post season and we still kept it close.

Take the days off, collect yourself, get back to real Ranger hockey.

Feed off the garden energy and get it done on Saturday.

The PK has let them down at key moments all series long. It was a staple all season long but all we need for now is just one win. Thats it, winning two consecutive game 7's in't easy, but they are in the same boat and having to do it on the road twice in a row will be a challenge for them. History is on our side having won every game 7 ever played at home in the franchise's history and we have been big at home all season long. This is the make up of our team, none of us should be surprised we are in another game 7 here...to quote Torts," we just have to go play, keep banging away at it and find a way"...more of a paraphrase but you get my drift. Stay positive and we will be ok, I am confident they won't throw another dud in there...LGR!
