He did say "then slay the Devil(s)" so I assume he is pulling for the Rangers next round. Perhaps I am so accustomed to rooting against NY teams that I assume most every other fan of non-NY teams feels the same way. - MadCap2008
oh. that wasn't there when I stopped in. |

You tell'em I'm coming ... and hell is coming with me!
Edit: But seriously, Brian, you think I would show up at your door? If I really want to get you, I would hit you with a blindside hit at the Grocery Store, with the principal point of contact being the head -- right into the Mangos you would go. - Pete V
That's the Pete I know & love. |

I can imagine Shanny's explanation now:
While we can accept Pete V's explanation that he was just trying to create space in order to get to the lemons, Brian was in a defensive stance, and it was Pete V that was approaching him from the orange counter. Pete V actions were excessive and reckless. While we have taken into account that Brian suffered no apparent injury as a result of taking a header in the mangos, and that Pete V has no history of supplemental discipline, we nonetheless find it appropriate to ban Pete V from the grocery store, without deli privileges, for 1 week. - Pete V

Maybe he just hates the Devils, like every warm blooded American that doesn't live below the poverty line in a 5 mile diameter around Lyndhurst? - Suckmysweatybawls
I view the Devils as inoffensive (I hated them during the trap years, but otherwise not so much) -- not enough traveling fans to create a good hate for anyone outside of the NYC area (Pens/Flyers/Rags/Bruins, those are the teams/fans we love to hate down here). |

That's becuase they don't have as large a fan base, in comparison to those markets. A lot of people from New Jersey, who live in relation to Newark, are originally from New York. Plus, most people in south jersey, Ocean/mercer county and below are philadelphia fans (due to their cable feed). |

The Hartford Whalers failed as a franchise, because they were between Boston and New York, and really had no sustainable fanbase. The Devils' situation is similar, being between New York and Philly. Had they not had the success they had, the Devils probably wouldn't have survived either. |

I knew the answer as soon as I read it. I assumed the answer was going to have to be somone obscure and who is more obscure than John Scott? |

Heard through the grapevine that Fatso was interviewed by Dan Patrick today & when asked about who would win in a fight, him or Hank, he said he could take him. LOL, anyone hear this? Can't find that quote, just a link to the interview from today. |

They're in completely different weight classes. If you had a noggin-size contest, however, I believe Hank beats all comers. |

Brodeur goes out of his way to take shots at Hank & the Rangers. Listen closely, they're vague usually, but shots none the less. He carries that little brother mentality to this day about the Rangers, even after winning 3 Cups. |

He is such a prig. He has won 3 cups and every one believes he is the best goalie of all time. Why isnt that enough for him?
He is also the biggest flop artist in the history of the NHL. I dont know how he hasnt gotten a diving penalty. He stands 5 feet outside of the crease and drops like a sack of flour everytime someone touchs him.

Hank is too pretty to fight. He'd just go do what Jose Canseco did and get his twin brother to take out Brodeur. That way we won't have to worry about Hank hurting his glove hand punching Brodeur's melon. |

Why is a Lightning fan so hyped about the Rangers ? I get the Caps hate because they are a division rival, but I'd think Jersey would be the default choice (no real reason to hate the team/their fans). - MadCap2008
Because I am a fan of Torts, Richie and Feds. They are Lightning Alumni. Plus King Henry is a stud and deserves to win, but I am also pulling for the Kings too. Should be good. Not sure what my dislike for the Devils is, Perhaps the elimination of the Bolts in 2003 still stings. |

I want this done tonight. My work week is going to suck the rest of the week, so I don't want to have to stress out about a game 7 to. Come on Rangers, do this tonight! ECF is so close!!! |

Anisimov has looked much more confident in general. Before he got knocked around too easily for a bigger guy.
He's been using his size lately and he's harder to knock off the puck. Been skating with his head up for the most part!
Sup Adam, you hawt little beeyatch! |
