who? Leo Komarov?
actually i disagree whole heartedly.. the guy is basically the mirror image of tuomo ruutu.. a bottom 6 agitator guy.
he's the type of guy the leafs need actually... however.. since that was supposed to be army's job.. they need to move colby now. - Dozzer
yea...but hes yet to play with NHL caliber guys...Im not sure if being a pest in the KHL translates to the NHL...hes not very big.... |

Malkin has a habit of not playing to his full potential when Crosby's in the line-up. With Crosby out Malkin DOMINATES. He takes it to a whole new level with Crosby out.
That being said, he's still a superstar with Crosby in the line-up as well. - Domaju
Agreed.
And to add...with Crosby's long term health still in question, Pitt would have to be INSANE to trade their 109pt man for Nash (59pts) |

oh work work work.. reviewing a sewer job for peterborough of all things right now.. bit of a trip for us.. but hey.. if they're willing to pay...
otherwise good.. i've nicely adjusted my life so that i hit the gym at least 5 times a week.. and i am gonna start playing squash tonight i guess.. hoping i do alright since i used to play tennis competitively.. but.. that was ... oh.. getting close to 2 decades ago now lol - Dozzer
haha nice....yea Im starting to hit the gym again myself...not to lose weight tho, want to put on around 10lbs of muscle. Im STILL desperately trying to find work in London thats a step up from what Im doing now...but no one is hiring!! Its crazy!!
And screw squash! You wanna get in shape, come play ball hockey with us a few times a week |

Kessel + 5th overall + Komiserek for Nash + 2nd overall + Mason. - PrinceLH
Dude....Nash isn't nearly as valuable as you, or Howsen might have us believe.
It's simple supply + demand my friend. Howsen is handcuffed by Nash's 'list of teams' in addition to publicly outing him in the media that he demanded a trade...
He'll be lucky to get 50% of his value IMO. |

Be careful...I essentially suggested the exact same trade a few days ago (excluding Komi) and am still being harassed by UG as we speak...
He wasn't fond of my analysis.... - Pen15
I don't think that it would get it done, as there are definitely GMs that would offer more.. I am just saying that a deal like that is all I would be happy with.
Nash underperformed this year, so did Schenn and Kuli.
All 3 are capable of more.
Meanwhile, CBJ gets a late 1st, a player with a tireless work effort, and 2 defence who can step in immediately for them. Schenn has the potential to be a #2 or #3 d-man, and would already be in the top 4 in CBJ.
Again, I wouldn't do it if I was CBJ unless I had to cause Nash wanted out. Same with the Kessel deal. |

He will get more than he is worth because of hte lack of players avaialble.
Parise is resigning in NJ, and Suter is most likely going to resign in NAS.
I would dangle a guy like Kessel or Lupul this offseason because I think the return would be more than they are worth.
In fact, any team that is willing to give up a top line player would get an incredible return imo. |

he's still 5-10" and 190 pounds.. he's not hughe.. but not small either..
he doesnt have to be big to be a pest.. if he's doing his job right he simply agitates opposition players til they take a penalty
i dont know... i'm gonna keep an open mind with this guy.. this is the feisty character type guy that has been sorely missing from the leafs lineup the last couple years |

UG has passed away my friends.
the car started in the garage and UG was sorting through his O pee chee cards in the car and forgot to open the door.
he shall be burried with an Aki Berg card, John Mitchell will be missing game 3 to be at the funeral in his honor. the one and only leaf fan who stuck with him through the hard times.
diablo3 time yet? |

maybe i will actually.. but i already invested 200$ for indoor court shoes and a raquet so i'm not gonna give it up
for me it isnt so much about losing weight as it is losing bad weight and gaining good weight..
as for jobs yeah.. london is severely hurting right now.. be happy you have one. |

Leafs would need to add a LOT more. Especially since Columbus was asking 1 NHL ready player, 1 Prospect, plus a top pick for Nash alone lol - Domaju
It's all about balance and this trade appears to work for both teams. What does Columbus need? Move out the Nash contract and get a player that can put up similar numbers, point wise. He needs to be younger, with a better cap hit. Kessel fits the bill. The draft picks are close enough, that each team gets a quality player in the draft. Leafs need to move ahead of Montreal to get the first line Centre that they're after, in Galenchyk. Columbus has far more holes to fill, so every position is a need for them. Leafs need a Centre, first and formost. The Komiserek for Mason contracts cancel each other out. Leafs need a backup goalie and Komiserek needs a new start and would help Columbus in their top 6 on defence. The Cap is almost identical, once you factor in all of the pieces. |

The #1 pick is also a risk..
I could see him moving the pick for a proven player. A proven #1 D that is.. Unfortunately the Leafs have nothing of the sort, so moving onto the next available option to fix the Leafs...
Anyone else here interested in trying to pry Mikko Koivu out of Minny to centre the #1 line? Any idea what it would cost? |
