in slow-motion it looks like he has some time, but not at full speed. he didn't leap, push forward or any of that. he turned his own body and just used his upper arm. if anything, it looked like he let up a bit. - hammarby31
Tough one on Doan. They'll take that into consideration. At least they should. Kings are rolling.
They loved Philly and gave us everything they had ...no reason not to be cheering for them - broadstreet11
I disagree here.
The reason I am not even close to a fan of Frick and Frack is as follows:
We drafted and groomed these guys to be the face of a franchise. The Flyers gave them the chance to be leaders, to be looked up to, and to lead a team. Did they expect them to do this? I think so. Was it unfair? Maybe it was. Regardless, how did these 2 players pay back this franchise and their fans??
Partying and half assing their hockey lives.
As we saw in the Flyers/Debs series....we all said it....losing is fine. People lose. Failing is fine. I'm not ripping these 2 for failing to fulfill their roles or not leading us to a Cup. What is unacceptable, in my eyes, is their apparent disinterest in winning, playing hard, and hustling game in and game out.
I, simply, don't want trash like that in this city, nor do I want them to win. I wish no ill will on them...no injuries, no "blow up the LA Kings"....I just don't want to see them win a Cup.
That's my story and I'm stickin to it, even if it is shortsighted or speculatory.
