And they do not have to decide until 2 picks before that pick. So if a guy is there they want then they pick if not they can hold off until next year.
Considering how tough it is to repeat (heck they haven't even won yet??) I can see Howson passing until next year for a better pick.
But there is always the option to move up as mentioned already.

There's a lot of goalies in this draft with high upside to be had later on who could be real steals. If you need a goalie, this is one of the best draft classes for them.
