also all the teams in the playoffs remaining have goalies that handle the puck well to take pressure off the d and reduce the punishment from forechecking

Bernier won't be going anywhere until LA can get Quick signed to a long term deal, which will be expensive. If they move Bernier before those negotiations are completed, Quick has all the cards to demand max money or a Doughty like deal. As it stands now, he only has 48 of the 52 card deck.

I know Bernier is highly regarded, but he hasn't shown me enough to get excited about. If Stan can get Lindback or Schneider then I'd be excited but that's not happening.

Honestly I'd rather have Stan focus on improving the defense and keeping Crawford. Time will tell what Stan's plan is.

If Vancouver moves Schneider, it won't be within the conference. Same with Luongo. It will be interesting to see who Gillis ends up moving. If Gillis moves Schneider, he'll get a nice haul for him.

Lindback is an interesting one. I don't know if he'll be able to be re-signed in Nashville on the cheap or not? I'm sure Lindback is worth a pick and a prospect of varying degrees in a trade, but I don't see Nashville trading him within the division.

He doesn't have to be. He's a great two-way defenseman. They can always sign another big body to play as the 6th or 7th defenseman.

The one RFA I'd like to see Stan trade for is Pavalec in Winnepeg. Both Pavalec and Crawford have off seasons. T could be one of those "change of scenery situations". Although I don't think Chevy will be willing to part with Pavs.

I think Winnepeg intends to build around Pavelec.

As for Crawford, I wouldn't be so quick to just write this season as an "off season" for him.

I wonder what it would take for Dallas to deal Fistric? If Dallas doesn't really want to re-sign him, I think it wouldnt take much more than a 4th or 5th round pick to get him at the draft.
