I see most of them on Blue Ray at home. I can buy one for less than it costs the three of us to go to the movies. We have Red Box here and you can rent one for a buck or two within three months of when it's out of theatres.
Last movie I went to was at Christmas and I can't even remember what it was it was so good. Cost the three of us $50. - mayorofangrytown
My kid has 3TB worth of downloaded crap. I can barely sit through a hockey game any more, let alone most movies. When I was 15 I used to wonder why my old man didn't want to go to live games or the movies. I'm there now. |

I thought they let Nick Cage off the leash too much in the second one. |

I don't think they can or even care any more. I went to a matinee last year with my son and a guy came in with a hoagie and a huge bottle of soda under his arm. |

He's really too old for either of those movies. He's looked ancient since Wicker Man. One of the reasons I think Green Lantern and Ghost Rider did so poorly was casting of the main character. Ditto Superman Returns. This is the last Batman Christian Bale could pull off so it's good that they're capping it at three. |

I agree on the Cage casting however I'm curious about your Batman and Superman assessments. With Batman iirc several of the stories take place with Bruce Wayne/Batman being middle aged. If memory serves the storyline doesn't have him hanging up the cowl into his late 50's. With Superman, I didn't mind that guy, who did you prefer? Oh yea from what I know they are rebooting the best Super-hero of all time AGAIN and they are doing the Zodd story. |

Really? Because I was trying to figure out what Russomanno meant. I thought it was some oddly shaped Italian Sausage or a stinky cheese or something. |

With Bale, he's kind of slight, they've never cast Batman well anyhow and by "last one he could pull off" I meant physically not age wise. Brandon Routh was too small and slight and pretty. The new guy, Henry Cavill, at least looks like he could pull off the Man of Steel so I have hopes.
Not that Marvel has been better than 50-50 on Superhero movies but DC has been down right abominable with their offerings outside of the first Batman movie and Dark Knight unless you go all the way back to the 70s and the first two Superman before the went all hookey like they did with the first run on Batman. |
