Jim Matheson of the Edmonton Journal says that Tomas Plekanec could be an enticing trade trip for the Montreal Canadiens this offseason.
The 30-year-old Plekanec had 17 goals and 52 points this season, as both of those totals have decreased over the last three seasons. Matheson reasons that with David Desharnais, another No. 2 center type, also in Montreal Plekanec could be expendable. He says the Phoenix Coyotes could be intrigued, and they have a number of blueliners to offer up. If Montreal does deal the center, Russian center Alex Galchenyuk could be its target in the third spot of the draft. What makes this difficult is Plekanec’s contract situation: He’s making $5 million over the next four seasons. |

It will most likely not be done before the next elections, looks like Charest will have two hands on the wheel for another four years of this

If he has two hands on the wheel, he should get a ticket for road rage. |

He's unmoveable because he's a hab... Leafs fans will tell you that Grabovski would get a blue chip prospect and a 1st round pick. Right, stormey? |

Yes. But use them if they're the missing piece in a trade for a good prospect/good player. Not talking about a 2nd for Lang here. |

I know it isn't apparent, but I'm not Don Maloney.
I'm also starting to doubt if you are Marc Bergevin |

Queen Elizabeth's dirty, old undies will have a new home ... after a mystery panty raider snatched 'em up at an Internet auction for $18k.
The knickers had been placed on eBay by the estate of the late "Baron" Joseph de Bicske Dobronyi ... who had claimed he came into possession of the undergarments after they were left on a private plane when the Queen visited Chile in 1968.
