What's wrong?

Shawinigan is pretty much a dead city, aside from the federal and Hydro jobs.

That's why they don't have many hotels.

I think the quality of the ice, or lack thereof, is more concerning than a 30 minute bus trip before the game.

Makes sense, if a city of 50k doesn't have enough hotel rooms for 4 hockey teams, it shouldn't be hosting it.

I agree. Would've been perfect in Saint John, but leading a league is alot about politics. And they just built the Centre Bionest there. Oldest 'Q organization too.

Lived in Trois-Rivières for 15 years, and pretty much all Mauricie is (frank)ed. They closed the Abitibi in Shawinigan and the Kruger will soon be too in Trois-Rivières. Most of the youngsters go to Québec, Sherbrooke, but not Montréal, because you know, you'll get raped as soon as you put a foot outside.
