Good God you make no sense,
sorry I did not know you were a scout or something along those lines to make to call on Petry being no more than depth.
This all makes sense now! - Tapdog
Of course Prock doesn't make any sense... In the Oilers section, he suggested that we should have drafted Fowler instead of Hall.
I used to take the guy serious, and thought he knew what he was talking about, but it's clear that he's just a troll. |

I think they broke up last year. She's been sniffing around Kutcher a lot lately. |

Want to know something hilarious is I was bored and grumpy last night. A bad time to play on the computer so I figured WTF. It works for Clouts in his blogs it works for a lot of the trolls so why not. It worked like a charm on those Leaf trolls even the ones who fly other teams like Nashville and New Jersey. I have been sitting here busting a gut since I woke up.

gags 75gp 18g 29a 47p +5
bozak 73gp 18g 29a 47p -7
too me they are about = maybe gags by a hair cause he was on a worse defensive team with a better +/-
my point was leaf fans overate their players.... gagner has more gp in career and they put up similar numbers... yet gagner is 22 and bozak is 26.
so who has more value? gagner>>>>>bozak - Killbot460
i agree gagner has more value, he should, gagner was like a 6th overall pick, while Bozak was signed out of the NCAA as a FA

Did I just read 435 pages comparing Gardiner to PRV?
First off, they are in two totally different situations and dont even play the same (frank)ing position.
Is that a joke? I ready maybe 5 posts and could tell that every Leafs fan has never seen PRV in equipment and vic versa for Edmonton fans and Gardiner.
It's also real smart to compare a soph like PRV who cleary experienced growing pains this year after a solid year last year to a revelation like Gardiner who very well could have a year like PRV did this year, next season.
Comparing a guy who's clearly at a low point to a guy whos flying high and enjoying success is idiotic. Can't compare the guy in the cardboard box to the dude on Sacks fifth. |

And now were comparing Gardiner to Petry?
Gardiner had a great rookie season. Great. Fine. Dandy. Dudes a former first round pick. He's always had the potential to be a top 4 dman. He's already proven through this season that he's an NHL player.
How he follows up on this season is important. Gardiner is not better then Petry after having ONE good season, the same way Petry isn't better or worse because he's only had half a dominant season.
Petry was a project dman from the get go. Gardiner was much more polished and destined for stardom.
Both of them are on track in their development. Petry is has progressed steadily throughout his entire career thus far. Most defensemen take the usual route Petry has in terms of a timetable. Gardiner's is accelerated because he was ahead of Petry in development at the same age.
Doesn't mean one's going to better then the other, and their not comparable on such a small sample size, nor do any of you take into consideration the teams/situation each player is in.
And no, looking at GF/GA and plus-minus doesn't (frank)ing count. Stop sucking nhl.com and hockeydb's Richard for 5 seconds. Theres way more that needs to be looked at in depth then just a few simple stats, and at a LATER DATE when both have had a bigger sample size of play at this level.
God (frank)ing damnit I hate all of you, save maybe 4 or 5. |
