The person I was responding to say said some like he wouldn't trade MPS for Gardiner straight up, and that is ridiculous. Nothing suggest MPS will turn out to be a better player than Gardiner. Jake is well on his way to being a top pairing D man. Either way if you are comparing them now or future, it is an easy choice. - zach parise9
Apparently your dad made the wrong choice when he chose not to pull out.
Yeah, you're right. If they were to redo the draft today the Oilers would take Paajarvi over guys like Dmitry Kulikov, Ryan Ellis, and Ryan O'Reilly. - dallas717
The guy had a good rookie year and a poopty sophomore year. We're talking about potential and MPS has more potential. Clearly you know more than NHL scouts.
Yeah you're totally smarter than me. Any idiot can say player X has more potential than player Y.
I challenge you to prove Gardiner has more potential than MPS. - Starbuck
Paajarvi is useless. He turned 21 last month!!! 21!!!! Let's face it... He is what he is. Considering his age, it's highly unlikely he'll ever improve. I hope we can buy him out.

Does anyone ever visit Jaeckel's threads? Their proposals for trading Kane completely favour the other team, yet they think they would come out on top of them. Kind of like reverse-Cloutier thread.

I wonder if they'd be interested in Kane for Hordichuk? What else do you think they'd have to add?
Toews, Kane and Kieth for Belanger, Horcoff and Barker - Starbuck
Those three for the the greatest faceoff/defensive forward in the NHL, the greatest leader in the NHL, and a d-man with more potential than anyone else in the NHL? I don't think so. They'd have to add more, obviously.

Calling me an idiot? answer me this how many Power forwards are in the NHL?
How many of those have speed of PRV. Any G.M. will kill for that even not making the NHL yet.
Or a dime a dozen offensive defenseman. hmmmmm I wonder where the value is.
I would take PRV over a overrated offensive not very good defensivly defenseman anyday of the week. - longbottom
for (frank)s sakes PRV is NOT!!!!!!!!!! a power forward

Meh! I want them to throw in Ed Belfour and Stan Mikita.
Katz is into pharmacy sh1t... I wonder if he has taken RNH's/Hall's/Eberle's DNA, in hopes of creating the perfect hockey player down the road. - laughs2907
I heard Katz' son has been collecting DNA samples.
