Best of three...feels like groundhog's day every two weeks with this team. |

No consistency is why the Rangers will prbably play max games for the first three rounds.

No I mean they are acutally showing effort now. That is what pisses me off, the game is over, why now? What about the first 55 mins |

They are out of gas, it's only gonna get worse. |

Dude stop seriously, this isn't a product of being out of gas, it's a product of not being ready to start games. |

It makes you wonder what they actually do right before the start of these games. Do they all shoot heroin because they look listless. |

Yea the battle level wasn't there. I don't think they were out of gas, it is they didn't seem to want it. |

This happened against the Caps twice, been a pattern on the road recently. Brodeur make me want to throw up |

The two games the Rangers won they were playing really hard in the third period. That's not how teams that are out of gas play. |

MM, I won't believe it's from not trying or being mentally prepared, it's from not having their legs and not having the ability to make up for it, the rebound they made from that horrible game 6 was now 5 games ago, they won't get passed the clutching and grabbing when they're too slow. |

That's how this series has been. Either team can win on any night. Both of these teams need to play hard to succeed, they can't thrive on talent alone. When one team doesn't play hard that's when the other dominants. |

4 straight bad 1st periods? I can't get passed it. |

It's not mental either, it's just being unprepared and not being able to match the Devils desperation.
It has nothing to do with them being tired, because they have done this exact same thing in the first two rounds.

This is exactly how they played in games 4 and 6 last round vs the caps. Little concerned by their lackadaisical play in these games, but they'll be fine. have to win game 5 though. can't afford going down 3-2 again |

The sense of urgency just isn't there in games where they have a chance to take a commanding lead in the series.
