MM, I won't believe it's from not trying or being mentally prepared, it's from not having their legs and not having the ability to make up for it, the rebound they made from that horrible game 6 was now 5 games ago, they won't get passed the clutching and grabbing when they're too slow.

Let's be honest. The Devils have come out and set the tempo and the Rangers have lost their identity off to bed long day at work

This is exactly how they played in games 4 and 6 last round vs the caps. Little concerned by their lackadaisical play in these games, but they'll be fine. have to win game 5 though. can't afford going down 3-2 again
- bonzo11

Not saying there isn't cause for concern because if they look like this on Wednesday, they will returning to Jersey one game away from their season ending.

4 straight bad 1st periods? I can't get passed it.
- HankdaTank

Yeah, if you look at it from a positive perspective they still have won two games despite not having a full effort.

Yea, Devils wanted it more plain and simple. They were the better team and deserved to win
- TPC

Pretty easy to break this game down: Devils looked good right away and got a few early goals, while the Rangers continued to look pathetic until late in the second period.

absolutely. They better come out flying Wednesday and finally put a complete effort in. 0-7 with a series lead. Hard to complain since they always rebound, but playing with fire not being able to finish teams off. MSG postgame show is unbearable

Yet another record owned by Brodeur. See you guys for game 5.
- WayneZ

He will make a great backup for the next 10 years. I hear he is looking into playing well into his 70's if it means one more stat.

If they win game 5, I am not going to waste my time watching game 6. There is no point

Eventually it could catch up to them and if they don't wake up soon, it could be in this series.

When is the last time the Rangers had a period of sustained pressure?

Henrique caught McD with a left to the shoulder pads, so much for that left to the kisser Pierre.

4 straight games of the Rangers coming out completely flat.

Their due to come out with a decent start in game 5...if they don't then might as well mail it in

Yep, it is so (frank)ing frustrating. It seems game 7 is inevitable. After a lot of these losses were they failed to take a stranglehold on the series, they talk about lack of effort, intensity and poor starts. not something i enjoy hearing.

Game 5 is definelty the key. They win game 5 I think the Rangers pull it out in 7. They lose game 5, I think it ends in 6. Just my feeling.

Brodeur says it's unfortunate a guy like Rupp can "sucker" someone like that. Says he was minding his own business b4 getting hit

Another heart attack seventh game? As long as they win, I can handle it...I guess.
