No one said it was legal or that he didn't deserve a suspension that being said, zubrus deserved to get a game too. Deboer called prust's hit a headhunter, was zubrus's not? - bonzo11
Zubrus didn't hit Stralman's head. |

I wasn't aware that when asked if Prust's hit was a head hunter that Deboer also had to state that Zubrus's was too. - Pomegrant
It was the media's job to bring it up if they chose to do so, which they didnt. Im sure if they did DeBoer would plead the 5th and say "I didnt see it." |

Torts did exactly what he set out to do. He got the media all worked up about him...apparently the fans are too...
They don't seem concerned with the fact that the one pure goal they had was off a pick, and the other two were deflections (credit where credit is due, they were excellent deflections. Unfortunately you're not getting goals like that all the time. - synthetic150
I wasn't aware that a deflection goal isn't a "pure" goal. I guess Krieder's deflection was some kind of luck rather than skill based talent. |

Just like when Deboer stated that he didn't see Del Zotto cover the puck with his hand. I guess that's pleading the fifth too. |

Sykora scored 20 goals. Must be good. I am worried we are gonna miss his blazing speed, grit, and impeccable 2 way game. |

Poor phrasing perhaps.
It's a little of both (luck and skill)- just saying that you can't hope to score all goals and be successful off deflections like that, that goes for any team. |

Sniped goal, deflected goal, garbage goal, own goal, fart goal, shovel goal, lobbed goal... honestly, who cares.
Yes, pretty goals are far and few in between, but seriously guys, we'd be hypocrites to start comparing goals cause were not exactly the prettiest of goal scorers in the league. |

So maybe Hagelin can finally score a goal tonight, or Stepan? Would be nice. |

I agree. Doesn't matter how you score them as long as you win. Winning speaks for itself. |

How could you when he had it behind his back? Im not gonna argue the fact that it should have been a penalty. Calls have been blown both ways, get over it.
Secondly, DeBoer wouldnt incriminate his own player, why would he bring attention to something like that which could get a crucial player suspended? Use whatever you got in your head. |

again, said nothing about who was better. But maybe the devils have enough of their own issues besides Torts's comment?

Getting a healthy player back that can win faceoffs and help our PK is a great issue to have. Only reason Sykora is sitting is because our 4th line has been great and no reason to scratch any of them. |

Elbow hits his shoulder, maybe it was forearm that hit his chin. Watch the TSN vid which is a lot more high quality. Stralman's head doesn't even move. |
