Belanger can be helpful, but his time was literally shortened by RNH. Every centre was affected by EDM keeping RNH. Gagner is 2C, Horcoff is 3C, and paying $2M for a 4C is not financially smart. If Belanger can get something good in return per say a 2nd round selection be great. He has one year left and I can't see he is a tough trade for a team to pick up that is looking for good PK and faceoff abilities especially if that team is going to aim for the playoffs next season. Konopka also be my ideal for a 4C. Toughness and face-offs, playing with Eager as 4LW, and sign a guy like Adam Hall with alittle offensive upside be a good 4th line to bang and protect the EDM future stars.

Trading Belanger only makes sense if he is a locker room cancer(which has been mentioned) or you have a back up plan in place.

Moving him for a good pick isn't what this team needs to be doing right now.

I remember one weekend in Montreal at an establishment, I saw Swedish Twins and it brought me a lot of joy. 100% sure it wasn't them though, and they defintiely weren't guys.
