Designated driver for an afternoon party tomorrow, otherwise el zilcho. These three day weekends never amount to much for yours truly. I'm content just to have the extra day off work. |

This is why yesterday I said the red wings don't let many diamonds in the rough get away. It's unreal their ability to draft talent in the later rounds. - funmaster18
I think it's more of a combination of their drafting and development of the players they drafted who they now have a vested interest in. |

That would be a very good selection if he made it that far... There are a few other D-men, a few projected to go in the second as a matter of fact, that I wouldnt mind them taking..
Damon Severson screams potential to me... but at the same time can look real raw. He has a very nice right handed point shot though/
Ludvik Bystrom is another kid who I wouldnt mind having..
Jordan Schmaltz also has a ton of potential. - jak521
If go Finn, Koekkoek, & Lindholm as likely to best available for the Flyers as far as d-men go |

P.S. How funny is it that Hartnell calls Carle a Pylon? |

i work retail, so the timing of this wedding actually resulted in me having a whole holiday weekend off work. probably the first one of those i have had since i started working at 16.
i don't mind at all. |

pelle's 1981 canada cup sweater, and my prize possession.

Hey Hammarby!
Here's mine: 1st half home jersey 82-83. Not his first Flyer jersey (he played a few games in the old-style Cooperall cut the previous year), but a rookie jersy. Bought directly from Sudsy at the Class of 23 rink in Jan 83 (my freshman year and the team's last year practicing at Penn). Great memories, tons of auto's including Gretzky (west coast teams would practice there too if the came in the day before.

Pelle's first Flyers jersey was in training camp 1980-81 with the horizontal stripe on the bottom. He wore #35 at his first training camp rather than he later-familiar 31. |

I'd just like a game-used stick, and not Pelle, I'm not crazy. Pretty much any Flyer I ever liked. Just one. |
