The draft being in Pittsburgh ensures this is the first time Bettman will be cheered at the podium.

I'm of the frame of mind that a HEALTHY JVR is just as good as adding a higher end free agent at forward. I think he was poised to break out this past season, and after seeing his injury list, was amazed he could even skate.
The way his injuries played out, t seems to me they were a cascade of related problem all stemming from one another. (minus the concussion and broken foot, which I view as freak accidents)
However the hip problem, abdominal problem and groin pull are very much related, and if he gets that fixed, he will continue to develop and become the beast we have all seen glimpses of. |

They removed it before I could get on the desktop (I was on the Kindle Fire for a bit), but after the "Yearly Results" table, this was written (presumably by a bitter Saint John fan):
"In 2012 the Cataractes conspired to rig the Memorial Cup Voting process to steal the tournament from where it should have been held in Saint John, NB. Later in the tournament, they were able to bribe officials throughout the Memorial Cup Tournament, most prominently seen in the Tie Breaker game against the Saint John Sea Dogs. The Cataractes went on to cheat their way to victory beating the London Nights in Overtime of the Cup Final."
Wow. Needless to say, it has since been fixed/removed. |

OT in the Memorial Cup Final. - ob18
I watched, but had to leave it on mute. Thank God they don't allow horns in the WFC. I'd have to give up my tix. |

Still can't believe you guys got knocked out by NJ. It's just one of those things that leaves me shaking my head in disbelief. |

They outworked us. I think what bothers me is how the Devils played in the first round, just to roll over the Flyers and Rangers. |

You?!?
I was at Games 1, 2, & 5.
I still cannot believe that of PHI, NYR, and FLA, the Panthers gave the Devils the toughest challenge. Ay-yi-yi-yi-yie... |
