I'm not a soccer expert, but I don't think he's on the same level as those two.
- QuebecPride

In his prime he was way better. He's older but he stayed in Serie A so it's hard to compare the last few years. Henry wasnt a starter in Barcelona his last year either

Well he might be kidding, which seems to be a recurrent term around here

yes. difference is that Henry and Beckham played a long time in England and Del Piero spent his career in Italy.

Sacha...Crawford sucks...Vancouver, Dallas, LA...he didn't do anything there...with rosters arguably better than Montreal's.
- TouenneTiiTree

LA, Dallas sucked.
Vancouver was meh at the time.
I would have more confidence in Crawford than with Therrien ( who couldn't win the Cup with argueably the best lineup in the NHL ) or with a rookie hot head with only the Q as his coaching experience.

And in the 7 games 6 were agaisnt top teams with elite pitchers.

The next games will be much easier and we should boost our stats

He got them to the finals, against a battle tested Detroit team...

I have nothing against him, but I would prefer we swing for the fences (Roy) than take the safe route in this instance. What's the point...do we see a guy like Crawford or Therrien molding this rag tag bunch into contenders? they they really have that much fire? inspire that much confidence in the guys? I don't think so, but Patrick eeeeuuuuRoy might.

I will cut you into pieces, send one of your foot to the conservatives and a hand to the liberals, dump the rest in an alley.

the most offensive part of all this is that some of me would end up with the liberals.
