If you are the coach why do you make them do that?

I coach 14-15 year old baseball. When I have a practice I work with a couple of pitchers...the rest of the kids play baseball. No fancy drills. No throwing a medicing ball around. We have the best hitting team in the league because that's all the kids do. Hit and run around the bases and have fun.

In other words...blah blah blah you're a poopty coach.

y'all act like you never had to do suicides... Drills are part of learning to play the game. Yes, practices should have some fun parts and free play teaches the new skills like the slick puck handling that drills wont but a ton of learning is being taught. Since most of these parents didnt teach their kids poop before signing them up, someone has to.
