a true champion.

As much as I'm not a big fan of Luongo, I don't think he's to blame for the lack of success this year in the playoffs for the Canucks.

I think people undervalue him big time when suggesting he'll be out of Vancouver for a 2nd rounder a prospect and a bad contract à la Komisarek...

So he can get his name on the cup. If he can remember how to spell it.

Savard got his name on the Cup last year without playing a game in the playoffs.
your arguement is denied!

it's the contract that makes him so hard to move.

If by dead you mean sipping back on some fine liquor drinks with fancy umbrellas in them, then I agree!

Depends how badly Vancouver wants to trade him before the season begins.....

It seems obvious it's not an option right now so...

Agreed, Loungo is better than Ward. Ward has the better contract and Both would help the Leafs.

And there are other teams who also need a goalie.

If you were Columbus, would you trade Nash for Lou and a pick?

Considering the goalie market and such anything more than a mid first, decent roster guy and a medium prospect is overpayment

Yeah, let's talk about how crappy the goalie market is and what Rinne and Bryzgalov signed for...

Columbus does not a goalie. The trade market is strange for goalies though.

Being traded for a Leaf bad prospect is very wishful thinking on the fans part, and I can't wait for the post Burkie interview after Luongo goes to Columbus for a 1st rounder, where Burkie almost had Luo, but it came down to him thinking they were sending Komi to Van While they were thinking Burkie was sending Schenn.

So close
