True (frank)ing story (and as I type this, I think I may have said this here before, but it's worth retelling):

My son graduated grade 8 from his Browntown middle-school last year. At the ceremony, they handed out some awards. They came to one award which was given to a student who showed greatest strides in learning a second language during their time at the school. The language the student learned was English.
