No one is talking about how tough of a sport either one of them are.

And Baseball is well known for being the sport where you can have a belly hanging over your belt, and that most players sit around for hours scratching their balls. But it is a redneck American sport and them der Americans don't tolerate dem der gays.

Golf also used to be known as the Old Gentlemans game before Tiger.

point is that people go out of their way to criticize soccer in that fashion. i think it's fair to criticize it as boring. yeah, there's a diving element that pervades the game. but last i checked, hockey had a weeee bit of a problem in its own regard.
