So you think the reason Cammalleri sucked as a hab was becuase he sports a helmet instead of a turtle neck?
I don't believe that for a second. |

I believe if all players weren't dressed to kill as they are now, they'd think twice about delivering a cheapshot to the head... |

lol...
I'll always remember my ex-father-in-law who complained that on the PK, the defending team shouldn't be allowed to ice the puck...I retorted, why don't they just take away their sticks while you're at it.
I might have insulted him...
But taking away helmets is as smart as DT's 0.5 goal idea.

I don't think removeing the helmet would really help...but removing the hardened plastic from elbow and should pads would...

it would take a few deaths after the removal of helmets before people regained that respect, and after one death everyone would be dressed in bubble wrap. So it would never happen. |

I used the helmet as an hyperbole. |

So would an automatic ejection for contact to the head. |

depends...did the guy die?
I actually agree, unless a guy throws his head at you, it's a penalty...just like high stick...accidental or not (and forget about initial point of contact...as long as it hits the head at some point) it's a penalty.

Cherry is 100% correct. go watch a rugby game. no padding. anywhere. not even jocks. forces players to be smart about how they make contact and deliver clean shoulder hits and make wrap-up tackles. you wanna deliver the kill shot to end someone's career? you'll probably end yours too. |

Only when I got to the credit department. Talking to customer service, customer relations, and technical support I was pleasantly surprised to be talking to someone who could clearly speak english. - mcmanmat
For a change of pace i prefer to speak to them in my broken newf french, this is always a hit, in fact they love it, and they usually don't pass me around to so many made up departments. Apparently " don't any of you Paki's speak french?" is not well received on days ending with "y". |
