No they do not. However I am interested to see if Carlyle can implement a defensive system. That could augment the lack of speed on the back, I mean the Yotes aside from Yandle and OEL are slow but they always cover for eachother when pinching, in TO both guys pinch and all you can see is Grabovski swearing and racing down ice like a madman trying to save their ass

Congrats on MacKinnon next year Habs, I'm sure Therrien won't be there when he's taking you guys through Cup runs...It'll be a quick rebuild.

Bergevin did not pass the test, a failure that big behind the bench cannot be a good sign for things to come. Yeah he's cooler than Gauthier but the goal of the game is to win games. So far the only good move was Dudley AGM and it's only because Bergevin is friends with him. Clearly if Dudley sucked he would be AGM anyway seeing how Therrien got the job for coaching.

I'm not saying that I'm super happy about this coaching choice, but if his competition was Crawford, then it's the right choice.

Honestly, it seems like there weren't many interesting choices out there. Therrien seems to be a coach with a good work ethic, and that ethic seems to rub off on some of his players (not code). His message gets old quickly and so he'll probably need to replaced in about 2 years, but with a team that has mny young players, this isn't all negative.

Hopefully there are better long term options in about 2 years time.
