i was starting to get excited about the team's direction. but this is such a boring, stale choice. you wouldn't see the Flyers bring back Terry Murray.

That's all it takes to address Savard's cap hit. Thomas still counts for $5,000,000.
- mcmanmat

But the thing is the Bruins never put Savard on the LTIR last season. Now they can to counter balance the Timmy hit.

I just wrote the following note to our division manager:

we have some balls that won't stay inflated and we seem to have gotten a couple grabbed by other teams. I've been using some of my own but is there a way to replace the busted ones and get a couple more?

The Flyers aren't picking from an all french coach pool either.

Just imagine what they could do if they didn't have to balance Thomas' cap hit?

No Thomas & 5M cap hit is still better than one Gomez and 7.3

There is no perfect situation obviously but its also no doomsday scenario. In light of all of this they even still have cap room to add a solid, depth 2nd line winger for around $4.5m if they don't resign Pouliot.

You should have been more direct, and told him that other teams in the division are grabbing your saggy balls, and although you've been able to manage the situation using your imagination, you'd really like them to stop playing with your balls, so that your kids can play with their own.

the balls grabbed by other teams aren't a big deal, we grabbed some last game and just gave them back their balls yesterday, each team has 10 so it's no big deal. More concerngin are the saggy once that won't bounce. they just lay there flat no matter how had you kick them.

I don't think it was EE's decision.
