Honestly, I wouldn't have minded Therrien if I hadn't heard him talk on L'Antichambre. Same for Hartley. - _nay_
you know that's a TV show, right? and that panelists are given a very clear mandate... |

Turcotte a assuré aux commissaires qu'il était un homme transformé, qu'il souhaitait recommencer à pratiquer la médecine, refaire sa vie avec une autre femme et peut-être même ravoir des enfants.

Well then, Bergevin should have hired Michel Bergeron.
Or Gino Odjik. |

i dunno. i mean, we don't know how he interviewed. i can't believe that Bergeron came out thinking "this guy is (frank)ing moron but he's French..." it's hard to judge him on his time in Montreal given his inexperience and the absolute train wreck of a roster he was given. he actually has more to work with now, believe or not, aside from the Vezina-winning goalie he had here for 3 months. he had some success with Pittsburgh. and those saying "well, he had Crosby and malkin..." well, Bylsma had Crosby and Malkin this year. he also had them 2 years ago against Montreal. haven't seen Pittsburgh make too many runs since their Cup win.
it's just sad that 2 of the ginal candidates were guys we've already fired. i was expecting more creativity and vision from Bergeron. |

Hey Bergy sure knows how to pick a coach!! Well atleast you can all relaxe now that we know the habs have found a perfect replacement for Gauthier... atleast Bergy won't be making dumb move after dumb move.....
So Therrien really was the best option I guess... kinda hard to believe but ... |
