i think the whole "don't draft a defenseman in the first round" thing is/is about to become outdated..... it's becoming a defenseman's league IMO

No I mean trading a depth forward to Phoenix and trying getting one of their defenseman like Yandle or another that's ready to play at the NHL level. I don't want to move up in the draft.

It's an unspectacular group, but there are some interesting players in guys like Akeson, Kessel, Manning, Testwuide, and even Shane Harper.

I would absolutely love for Testwuide to make the team this year. It would mean no more Jagr, but I think adding a guy with his size to the bottom six from within the organization would be incredibly beneficial.
