I'd take him or Ceci
But I'd sit still to grab Finn, Koekkoek, or Skeji in that order. - ob18
The Caps have a pair of first round picks and they, well...do kinda owe us one for Carlson.

SHHH, I don;t want Homer getting ideas - Jsaquella
What's most interesting to me is, I think Bob would bring back a fairly decent return. Something along the lines of a second round pick or an unproven prospect on the verge of making the NHL. |

Skjei has been projected by some to hang around the 20th pick. Not a terrible consolation if we cannot move up. |

Perhaps. Hell who thought that Varlamov would have gotten the Caps what he did? |

I think they want to jump up to get Reinhart - Jsaquella
How high do you think they would need to move up to get him? Why Reinhart? |

I actually think Bob will have some value. I read a report that Columbus was interested in along with some others. |

Excellent size (6'4" 200), good skater for a big guy, good hockey sense, excellent bloodline(dad was former NHL defenseman Paul Reinhart) and potential to be a very solid two way defenseman at NHL level.
My guess is he goes between 6-10, although rumor has Edmonton considering him at #1 |

I guess that is the reason for the Flyers interest. I mean, has there been any talk out of the org suggesting that is a player they might want to move up for?
Edit: Sorry long day at work. I thought that said "Bloodiness" Like he would bring some violence to the ice. My bad |

Everything I have read says that the Jackets have zero interest in Bob. They want established and solid, not young and unproven |

If the Oil would want him, and I could understand why, they should try and trade down a bit out of the top spot and pick up a decent young player/prospect in addition to the deal. |

Absolutely. Speculation that they were talking about Reinhart was to spur trade offers for the top pick |

You think Howson even answers Holmgren's calls anymore? |

The Blue Jackets will need to add three goalies this offseason. After Curtis Sanford left for the KHL, the team now has only Steve Mason and Allen York under contract for next season. General manager Scott Howson wants five keepers signed throughout the organization. There's no way Howson thinks that Mason is anymore than a No. 2 and even after York's late-season success, he's still just 22 and needs more AHL seasoning. Thus, Columbus will need to find a No. 1 and two depth guys. The Columbus Dispatch's Aaron Portzline throws out Nashville' Anders Lindback and Philadelphia's Sergei Bobrovsky as potential trade targets. Free agents Columbus could be interested in include Jonas Gustavsson, Josh Harding, Scott Clemmensen and Martin Biron.
*Not saying this is going to happen but Bob has value. Question is how much? |
