Agreed. He has a big future for Philadelphia (at winger). - Daman
Yet to be seen where he plays. Briere might be moved to Giroux' wing if Jagr isnt resigned... |

I wouldnt trade them just to trade them. They both put up 20-25 goals for pennies on the cap... However, if you can get Enstrom for Read and Simmonds..... done, and done. - RooNosHockey
i would do that deal. do you think wpg would? i think it would take schenn though. in that case that's all they get just schenn straight up for enstrom |

also, i love how he clearly shoots low into the middle of the net and it shows a shot picking out the top corner |

Their combined cap hits are 2.650 mil and you are talking about 50+ goals between the two of them. There's a lot of value there, imo. |

The Nashville Predators will not bring back Alexander Radulov for the 2012-13 season and will look to trade his rights to another NHL team. GM David Poile said if the team cannot deal him then they will allow him to return to the KHL to play in Russia. "The best way to characterize it is it's time to not pursue Rad anymore," Poile said. "If he wants to play in the KHL, that's fine. If he wants to play with another NHL team, I'd be willing to trade his rights." Radulov is scheduled to become a restricted free agent on July 1. He returned to the Predators near the end of the regular season after playing four years in Russia. He notched three goals and four assists in nine games and posted another six points in eight playoff contests.

Sounds like a good guy. - stveshdy
protypical flyer. we should totes trade for his rights and sign him to a long term deal.

You may be right (no way to know) but my uneducated opinion is that Voracek is the right winger with G (assuming no Jagr) and Schenn rides shotgun with Briere (and maybe JVR).

I agree. There is also a lot of value in Enstrom. I would do that deal in a heartbeat. You lose a lot of low cost production now, but you keep hopefully a higher end talent in Schenn or JVR in the long run. |

I have this feeling that signing Voracek is going to be an issue. I hope the Flyers and his agent can agree on a term that is fair for both sides.

I would totally trade for his rights if for no other reason then to keep him away from the Rangers as a possible replacement for the production lost from Gabby. Much like Pitt traded for Vokoun to keep him out of Philly. |

If Voracek is going to be a contact issue then I would rather trade him now. His production isn't much higher then it was last year, and playing on a higher scoring team. He is a good player, but there is no need to be fighting management over contracts at 24, when you havent exactly lived up to your draft spot. |

i want no parts of either player. glad pitt overpaid for vokoun. i'm surprised no one is claiming tampering by pens, i think vokoun said himself he had been talking to them for a week b4 he signed. guess no one cares cuz vokoun is washed up |

If pittsburgh traded for an overpaid backup to keep him out of Philly, I find them doing that pretty stupid imo. Really? They are worried about Vokoun in Philly? |

I would welcome that. If its true, I am willing to bet a trade of a forward is going to happen. We are too deep at forward right now. |

I'd love Jags back if the price is right. I think JVR will be dealt at some point. He's been on the block since December. |

Its not tampering if Washington gave them permission. I wouldnt have minded Vokoun as a back-up to Bryz. And if the Flyers are going to be trading some forwards, I wouldnt mind Radulov if he was cheap. |

hey history buffs how many teams have won the cup with just 2 playoff losses? - Don'tForgetTocchet
Oilers in the 80's went 16-2. I don't know the exact year, but I think mid 80's. That's it. And that team had I think something like 5 HOF's. |

Voracek is a very good player. He just needs to work on his shot and finishing. He would be an absolute stud if he improves that part of his game. |
