Wait, seriously? - Giroux_Is_God
it sounds like he's a repeat offender on some level...
he won't even have a phone call, it will always be an in person hearing.

WHEW!! No need for the big apology though. All you needed to say was that it was a joke. It's cool
You definitely seemed serious, though....
Sorry on my part too. Put a sarcasm smiley or somethin after that though!!! - Giroux_Is_God
No worries. None of us should take the internet too seriously IMO. It's just for fun (and for porn if you follow the arts). |

It was a joke. I'm sorry if it wasn't funny, and in addition if it was unclear.
However, please keep in mind that I don't share the same freedom of speech as you. If I called another's comments stupid, I'd be facing a lifetime ban.
So please accept my apologies and hopefully my jokes will be better (or even mildly decent) in the future. - Daman
No, if you called another POSTER stupid you'd face an appropriate ban.
And taunting in order to feel cool is known as bullying in the real world. Doesn't wash here.
If you don't want anyone to disagree with you, start your own site and don't allow comments. |

Phillies need to make some moves. The offense is not very good an they have no bullpen. Let's go Ruben, shuffle up and deal! - stveshdy
Ruben's biggest problem is that Ed Wade isn't the general manager of another team anymore But I think he's got a trade or two up his sleeve. |

As you can tell here, I am doing my best to be a better citizen. I would start my own site, but I hear that it takes both intelligence and $$$, of which I have neither (probably in line with the dumb and dumber reference above).
In addition, the best name I could think of for the site is "Daman's Hockey Banter" and admittedly that is pretty weak.
Good night to all. |

They have to do something. I hope that the plan isnt to rely on Howard and Utley coming back. Neither will have faced MLB pitching for awhile and coming off of injuries is hard to just get back into the groove. |

I don't expect either to ever be even a shadow of their former selves. Howard lost a chunk of muscle in the ankle. Utley didn't have the sense to prepare during the offseason for the season a second year in a row? Hmph. |

I hope Howard can be productive and still hit about 35 HR's a year. Utley I have no clue what to expect. This guy pretty much does whatever he wants and tells the team when he will play. Amazing. |

I think what people say they will put up with for a cup is vastly different from what their behavior would be. Besides, how do you know the 10 bad seasons don't come BEFORE the cup? And you're (not you personally, the general you) are whining all the way? |

sorry to start a convo and bail, i had some errands and then work. i appreciate the feedback into the possibility of the trade i suggested. i actually love the silly season talks because there are so many possibilities to improve an already strong team. i wish there was some way i could be a gm of any time, too bad that's as likely as me hitting the powerball. so this is the best i have, sorry if my endless "would this trade work for both teams?" annoys anyone. |

I think the Phillies' 2008 World Series win shows us that fans who claimed things like, "I want one championship and then we can suck for years and not care," are full of it. Or suffer from bipolar disorder. They want their team to win - or whine if they don't. It would absolutely be the same here. Folks will act like "We've been behind you all the time" if/when the Flyers next win the Cup and then revert to this pattern of behavior when the team comes back to Earth.
I miss the 2005 - 2009 Hockeybuzz. |

I made a conscious decision after the 2010 run to try and be more positive. The 2009-10 season drove me nuts, but simply sitting back and enjoying the games during the playoffs made it so much better.
I found that losses no longer depressed me and I enjoyed the wins as much as ever |
