Whats ridiculous is people hating on Button when year after year he is more right than 90% of mock drafts.

Add Frederik Andersen to the top notch goalie pool. Might be the best one available with his size and SEL numbers.

Yes of course. There are 25,000 mock drafts so this could be correct, but I doubt it. Everybody gets everything wrong for the most part.

This is the best draft for goalies in almost ten years, and I'm not just talking the big 3. The guys slated for the later rounds are all very intriguing as well.

In a draft where there is a significant talent drop off after the first 12-15 guys, it's not that farfetched, to me at least.

Suuuuuch a good goalie pool this year.

As for Button, I respect that he goes with his gut and not consensus, but I disagree with him... a lot.

His mock draft last year wasn't exceptional by any stretch. What did he get, 2 right in the top 30 and didn't even get the top pick correct. Looking at that list, most of the guys there were that top two tier variety, it wasn't that tough to pick the top bunch.

As for this year, I think his Subban at 8 and Murray at 13 are incorrect. I've seen Ceci enough to know the kid is excellent, but I don't think he translates better than Murray which Button apparently has him set to do. The one that really shocks me though is Dumba at 2. If Columbus takes him at 2, it'd follow their normal trend of draft success.
