To get web hits and attention. Eskin likes being the center of attention. It's why he's had the success he's had. - Jsaquella
Dont disagree with what your saying but if you continue to say things and miss people start to discredit what you say. I dont see Howard laying himself out there to be that kind of souce. |

I don't have an agenda here.
Just passing along some very interesting stuff I've heard from someone I really respect. - LordStanley88
I enjoy it. Much better than reading proposed trade cap ramifications on NHL 12 |

I don't necessarily doubt him, just not sure I buy the circumstances around it.
I mean, even if JvR is refusing the surgery, it's not some radical procedure like Emery had. A labrum surgery is relatively minor and common place. Not sure how that alone kills a deal. |

My conspiracy theory is as follows:
Homer is secretly working with howson to artificially increase Nash's trade value. This will cause the rangers to go all in on Nash...which will in turn destroy the rangers...
Homer is using the above to artificially raise the value of JVR, thus getting weber...
I think we can all officially call Homer the "godfather" of the NHL.

I guess that means JVR is going to win the Cup in Nashville next year then... |

Is it 100% that JvR needs to have this surgery? If he needs the surgery then its a non issue. If he has a choice to have the surgery or not then it makes alittle sense. I dont think a player refuses surgery to not be traded, that idea just sounds crazy in itself. |

I have no idea whether what your saying is true or untrue. All I know is that when your joe schmo who claims to have a source that you can't reveal, will never come off as being credible, and tends to make a person look foolish. So why say anything if you can't share the source and offer proof. It's just opening yourself up to criticism. - MJL
I understand, that's why I'm saying take it with a grain of salt. I fully understand that people aren't going to think the info is credible.
However, I do honeslty trust the person telling me this, and Eskin is never wrong about this kind of stuff either. |

And it makes a hell of a lot more sense if his doctor said your foot is still infected, it wouldn't be a good idea to have surgery right now. Its JVR's doctor. And no matter who is paying for it, in the end the doctor doesn't have to tell the team unless JVR says so.
So if some mail room boy over hears a conversation where JVR says, "I don't want to have the surgery right now"......no context, not hearing what was said before or after...he tells Eskin, and Eskin says JVR "HOLDING UP" surgery.
(the above is probably way more accurate than anything else spewed out there today.)
Eskin could have worded it differently, but he wants the hits and the controversy. Because NOW, we are all talking about JVR "REFUSING" to have surgery, and that it was Eskin who said it. Its a joke.
Anyway:
Dave Isaac @davegisaac
Can confirm @sbaickerCSN's report that JVR's hip surgery is delayed because his foot is still infected. Should have a story up soon w/ more.

It's a big deal to Nashville. They're demanding he have it.
However, JVR refused to get it done last year when the Flyers recommended it too. |

At least tell us how your "source" is connected to this knowledge. Ex-Flyer? Current Employee? Current Player? Imaginary Friend? Media? |

If you want the truth, just wait and see what transpires in the next few weeks. |
