Eskin never once said JVR is refusing to have surgery as far as I could tell. What Eskin said was technically true, it is how he said it that caused all this controversy.

So JVR is either:

1. Faking injury to avoid a trade to CLB
2. Faking injury to avoid a trade to Nash
3. Actually not even injured on his hip
4. Has a foot infection

Considering there are many different outrageous claims and rumors going on right now, do you actually believe people to take some random internet poster's word that "they know a guy"?

So JVR is either:

1. Faking injury to avoid a trade to CLB
2. Faking injury to avoid a trade to Nash
3. Actually not even injured on his hip
4. Has a foot infection

The reason Eskin gave really doesn't make sense.....and who knows if there is fire where theres smoke....but for the life of me I can't see why you wouldn't trade for Nash.....Yes there are needs on D ...but this guy becomes a cornerstone for the franchise. He becomes the Flyers 2nd best player!!!!..As far as the contracts and Money....Hartnell and Timo are UFA's next year....thats close to 12 mil!!!! I like Jagr and JVR ....But I would much rather have Nash then those two this year...hands down.

I would love to have either, although would much prefer Weber. I'd do whatever it took other than deal Giroux or Couturier to land him.
