I would love to have either, although would much prefer Weber. I'd do whatever it took other than deal Giroux or Couturier to land him. - LordStanley88
no arguement here. |

There is a difference.
My source actually says Homer is in Nashville currently discussing a Weber deal. Eskin speculated that Homer may be talking to Columbus since the Flyers had shown previous interest in Nash.
It's your choice whether or not to believe me...
Here's a fact though...you don't have to! - LordStanley88

Eklund and his identity are confidential. No one knows. There was word that someone in the White House leaked information about his identity, but the administration is denying these rumors.
I think we should drop the subject.

You would have to assume a decent amount of salary would have to go back to Nashville. I still believe Nashville would want an NHL d-man going back even if they do resign Suter as part of a trade. |

With Blum, Josi, and Ellis all young, potential stud blue-liners on board and in line for increased TOI, I'm not so sure I agree. The Preds miraculously breed defenseman.
They need offense and depth up front more IMO. |

If you lose Weber you need a proven NHL defenseman in return. Which neither of those players you listed are. |

They could always grab one in FA. Maybe they like Read more than any d-man we'd offer. |

I don't really get all this Nash talk. If the Flyers want a all-star winger, just go and sign Parise and you don't have to trade anyone. Then you can use some of the younger assets to get a d-man. |

They'd have to deal JVR, but I'd prefer that route too.
-Sign Parise
-Trade JVR for Enstrom

My buddy makes them, works for General Atomics.......they made an F-22 controlled by an Xbox 360 controller, well the F-22 was already made but you get the idea. All my countless hours on Top Gun in the arcade is about to pay off. |

It's gonna take more than JVR for Enstrom, but that's what I mean.

I like Read, but the package you stated from previous pages is a no-brain trade for the Flyers. I would like to see JVR back next year, but if were talking Weber, of course all bets are off. JVR in a package for Nash? No thanks. Glad Ek shot that down. |

Gill and puck moving d-man, I don't believe go together. I would say for the Flyers, a d-man on the roster would probably have to be involved, unless Homer doesn't resign Carle. On Carle, if he does resign for below market value, I would assume he would get a NTC as part of the deal. I know I would if I was his agent. |

Thats a good point, but why would they take an injury prone guy that may or may not be a 30+ a year goal scorer for their best d-man?

Why would Winnipeg trade Enstrom? Has he mentioned not wanting to come back to Winnipeg? Are there difficulties in negotiations to extend? Is Winnipeg in financial trouble? What is thier motovation to trade him, other then he might be a UFA in a year? Winnipeg still has an entire year to resign him. |
