I don't live there so I don't attend games (but I know it's kinda quiet at times), but I've never heard the PA guy urging the crowd on (to wave their towels), especially in the Finals.

Hey, remember when they called Pittsburgh "Flyers West PA" in 1992 when Rick Tocchet, Kjell Samuelsson, and Ken Wregget won the Cup there like they do with LA and "Flyers West"? No. Because it's fornicating stupid, that's why.

They always tell us to wave the towels before the network comes back from a commercial break a couple of times in each playoff game. And the video board is constantly exhorting you to MAKE SOME NOISE. All this while playing music so loud you can't hear the crowd anyway. I'd love to go back to the days when you responded to the organ if you cared to and people chanted or didn't based on what was going on.

Williams has been great in this series as well. Only question with him is staying healthy.
