I hope thats true. I would like for the Flyers to go after Weber first and if hes not available then they should move forward. - stveshdy
Weber is the top priority, as he should be. |

Odds are slim, but coming to play with Giroux on a very young, promsing team with a great organization is very enticing IMO. - LordStanley88
Its very enticing but so is Detroit, LA, NY and so on. He is going to have his choice. I would love to have him because he plays a great two way game. |

The flyers will look to improve their club this offseason (F4)
F4 - at least 4 other people heard the same and agreed with me that this is likely the situation. |

IMO at the draft we are going to see Weber traded to Philly. The assets Nashville gets back will convince Suter to resign before UFA, and will give Nashville enough cap space to resign. I also wouldnt be suprised if Radulov was included in the deal. Then the Flyers will purse Parise to replace the scoring lost by the Weber trade, and the acquisition of Weber, and the fact Suter stays in Nashville will sway Parise to sign in Philly. Plus it is not far from where he is used to playing and living. I dont buy the Parise to LA. There is already too much salary in LA.
I can see Detroit going after Semin, Shultz, and another D. |

I think unsustainable (lucky?) goalie play has been the main culprit. - bradleyc4
yea, but I still think the best post-lockout team was the CHI cup team. |

And where is your scenario that they are going to trade JVR for picks and sign both Suter and Parise, even though Suter has said he doesnt want to play for a big east team? |

Everyone on this board has said it's extremely unlikely.
It's food for thought, that's what these forums are for you dope. |

Well think about this... Why would Nashville trade Weber if they are not able to sign Suter. Logic says that if Weber is dealt, it will be because Nashville can resign Suter. |

Logic also says it's up to the players, not the team, and that it's possible to lose both players. Maybe not this year, but by next year. |

They wont lose both this year, but that gives them an entire year with Weber. |

Because Weber is at his max value now if they're unable to re-sign or afford him long-term given that he's a UFA in 2013... |

Why would they just allow Weber to walk away for free, especially since they're already doing the same with Suter. |

If they are going to lose both Weber and Suter, then they aren't going to be looking to get offense back for Weber. They will go after a defenseman as the main piece of the deal. |
