Bingo.
They aren't moving Shattenkirk or Pietrangelo any time soon either. - dadeadhead
I agree.. we didn't think anyone would ever want Grags either.. but we got rid of him...
Maybe we can get rid of Weber.. |

If homer is right and we're looking for a RH defenseman(makes sense),
Then someone has to go
Maybe two guys if they think McNabb is ready
So I expect us to make some moves
Maybe StL isn't the best trade partner,
But Stewart is the kinda guy we need
I know he's not a center, but we need a top6 power forward badly - jdfitz77
Pommer
Stafford
Vanek
Foigno
Leino
Who does he play ahead of?
Leino which means we're trading for a 3mil 3rd line winger. I don't see the fit. |

not arguing with you but.... Leino has not been playing like a top 6 guy... Foligno is not ready to be a top 6 guy and stafford is a top 6 guy about 1/6 of the games he plays in.. that is not a top 6 listing of players for a winning team and it makes me sad |

Depends how u look at it
At the end of last season, we were going w 3 "scoring" lines
Stewart looks A LOT better with vanek n Hodgson than Tropp does imo |

Anaving guys push each other for playing time is a good thing IMO |

Totally. It was $15 a pint and I was on the company dollar but it had to be mine. I said to my boss: I'll pay for this myself if I have to but I'm getting at least one of these.
Grapefruit, nose and taste, but not at all overpowering. The malt though is where it really shines it's just.... perfect. Soft, light but full of flavor - sweet at the end in a nice mellow way, the alcohol is definitely there, but in more of a way it shapes the overall flavors - like it sets a border on the sweetness and lets the hops come to the fore which they do without eradicating everything else that's happening.

This ate away at me all day. I went shopping to soak my sorrows. I got Firestone's Wookie Jack -black rye IPA, Green Flash's WC IPA and 3 different versions of Yeti. I would trade it all for that pint of Pliny.

Then say top 9 guy not top 6 and IMO Stewart=Stafford. They only play when they want to. We need players that give their all not more suck sisters IMO. |

Says who?
Most thought he was 2 yrs away from playing in the NHL at all.
I'm not saying he is but give him a chance at it 1st. |

I didn't think he was ready at all, and when he was on fire I stayed skeptical thinking that he would fizzle out at any second.
Now I'm not so sure. He has a track record of overacheiving. I don't want to put a ceiling on him. If he stays the course, he should have a good camp and make the roster. If he stays hungry, start working him into all situations. |

it would be a pleasant surprise if he stays where he is.. he needs to keep that drive and keep driving the net.. i also think keeping him with Ennis will be a key in his development. |

that doesn't mean much.. he still could be "loaned" to his european team.. unless he makes the team out of camp or says he wants to play in Roch i dont think he will be here. Will he even be done with his 6 month military thing in time for camp? |

If Stewart was on a line w vanek n Hodgson pretty sure they'd be in our top6
And whether you considered that the 3rd line or not,
He's a "top6" talent which is what I was saying we need, as opposed to bringing in say Ott or Goose back
See my point now? |

Does that mean he can somehow skip his year in the army?
And I think he is still sign w his team for 1 more year too, right? |

Yes and yes..
He would be able to skip his years of service to come play here.. and secondly yes he does have another year with Porin Assat.. but I'm pretty sure Buffalo and Porin would be able to work out some kind of financial agreement.
Armia might not make the club straight out of camp depending on what kinds of trades we do but he would be first call up in the AHL.. Maybe Adam would pull his head out of his a$$ if he saw Armia on his wing.
Catenacci and Sundher should be in Roch in the next year as well. |

depending on what moves we make Tropp could be back in Roch as well...
What is the consensus on Armia actually coming over here now.. i thought he was planing on one more season in finland |

The last thing I remember hearing was some manager or something for Porin Assat coming out saying that "Armia has one more year on his contract with us and he will honor that"
probably just trying to beef up a buyout from the Sabres if it came to it. |

I, personally, would be excited to see:
Whitmore - Adam - Armia
Rankin - Varone - Flynn
Turnbull - Stuart - Turnbull
I'm not 100% sure I have the positions correct but that looks pretty nice to me. |

They want to move Sekera and I just heard this last weekend, they don't like Regher. My source flat out thinks he sucks.
They (management, coaches, ect) are split on Myers. Some think he will be a star, others think he is "out to lunch" and lacks the intensity to ever be more than what he is now. Only time will tell I guess.
They really like McNabb and I'm pretty sure he will have a spot in the top 6.
Weber is pretty much out the door Ive been told. |
