quit killing my buzz
- homiedclown
I'm honestly hoping that this year was a huge wake up call to the entire team. From the bottom to the top. I think they all know some changes need to be made. I would think that maybe with all the crap that went down on locker clean out day, a lot of things will be a bit different. I think the coaching staff is going to have to try taking a different approach.
I do find it interesting that the guys that seemed to perform best for us were the younger guys that worked hard over the summer with Adams though. They seem to really respond to him.

I find this both positive and disturbing at the same time

I love him as a player
I think he may fall since reinhart is rising
It's hard to subscribe to the draft the best player theory when we are so depleted up front on the farm.
He is going to be a horse though - homiedclown
I generally subscribe to the bpa rule, but in this case I feel like they just can't afford to do that. Unless they move some of the current stock of guys they have and bring in what we do need more of. That's the only way drafting a D man at this point makes any sense.
They didn't really want to draft a D man the year they took Pysyk, but they couldn't believe he fell so far to them. Seems they might have been right so far. If they were smart though, they'd look to move him since his stock is so high right now.

My hope is Girgensons...
goose almost has me on the Gaunce bandwagon
in some mocks they have at 20 - gerbe75pts
Gaunce has been jumping around. I've seen him as high as 11 and as low as 26. I like both guys to be honest. I'd be fine with them drafting either. I'm also starting to have my interest piqued by Tom Wilson as well. And DD keeps talking about Samuelsson and that's intrigued me a bit as well.
I feel like my brain is starting to go into melt down.
