The barely competed line you threw out there would infer them reaching a game 7 as luck. - Gunner Staal
Are you gonna deny that Carolina dominated a majority of that series?? |

about the only thing that miller shoudl be proud of having is a nice set of pillows to motorboat..
I am sorry, but individual trophies are great and all but i would prefer the team trophies.. and when i played i won plenty of those stupid individual trophies but they never mean the same when you have no one to celebrate them with... and what does it matter if you get 7 Shutouts in a season when you only win 8 games.. |

I dont know why everybody is so convinced that Edmonton would have automatically lost to Buffalo. - Gunner Staal
i am not going to say they would have laid down on us but i think we had a better chance of winning it that year than the next.. that team still didn't fully believe in themselves like they did the next season.. they only showed up when they had to the next year and it showed in the playoffs. |

Exactly, Rangers fans should be pissed when Hank wins the Vezina. How dare he win individual awards. |

4 one goal games, each team had a blowout shutout win. Game 7 was 3-1 with an empty netter. |

I am not saying they would NOT have won. All I am saying is that a majority of fans think if they got by Carolina they WOULD have won, and I am not totally convinced of that result. |

Only Sabres fans can somehow put down Ryan Miller for winning a Vezina |

Mock Draft by Frenchie...
42. Buffalo Sabres select Center Scott Laughton Oshawa Generals (OHL) 94/05/30 (18 years old) – 64GP – 21G – 32A – 53P
Laughton is an extremely strong competitor who is always trying. He’s a two-way center that is very strong on the forecheck and has strong positioning. Though he’s an average skater, his positioning usually finds him in place and out of trouble. As a secondary PP player he still managed to show some strong offensive upside in the second half of the year. He brings the complete grinder package that teams would love to have in a bottom-6 center in the NHL. Buffalo could use a hard working most likely third line two-way specialist down the road to go with some of their more skilled prospects. |

I'm just teasing...
We were talking about trades yesterday and some people say I came up with a pretty decent one... lemme know what you think since your a straight edge guy...
Sabres Get: F Evander Kane, 9th overall pick, and 2013 4th rounder
Jets Get: F Thomas Vanek, D TJ Brennan, C Luke Adam, 12th overall pick, and 2013 3rd round pick.
Kane is an RFA.. Vanek has 2 years left on his deal. |

I think he is a really good goalie. But it is more complex when you bring the cap into it. |

Sabres had a knack for winning close games that post season in the Ottawa series, and they dominated Philly, If I remember correctly Carolina struggled closing out Edmonton in a few of the close games, I just think the Sabres would have been a great matchup to take that series in 5 or 6 |

I agree but would you knock Crosby's cap hit because of his concussion issues?? Miller has had concussions in consecutive years |

ding.. when he is on his game he can really steal (steel) games.. when his head isn't in the game (like because lucic scrambled his brains) he just isn't athletic enough to be good anymore..
anyway this could get long and old if we start talking about it again. |
