Is there any way Wash trades 11 +16 for the 5th? If Galchenyuk is gone, I would be willing to move down. Get a good player at 11, and pick up either Wilson or Subban at 16.

Unless its to early in the morning for me, the second half of your post made 0 sense explain. you're a cap fan, no? If not, no good players available at 5 should give you a reason to trade own. Unless there's a typo.

If Gally, or Murray aren't going to be available at 5, there is no reason for the Caps to trade down. And we all know both of them will be gone by 5.


A Ceci + Gaunce, Reinhardt + Wilson, etc... looks much better than trading down and not even nabbing the top center or d-man.

Yo huddle last year I thought I read the 2012 draft was going to be better than the 2011. Turns out ppl are saying the opposite. Is it due to injuries? Now that 2013 is listed as a strong draft is it possible the opinion changes next year? What would really cause scouts opinions to change?

Injuries, piss poor development from some of the guys people liked early on (Ebert, Marcantuoni, etc.)

All in all it's just been one of those years. Not to mention people were down on 2011 right up until the day after the draft. I was saying all along that 2011 was a deep draft that people would like.

Hard to tell where the Trouba/Reinhart/Reilly/Dumba group of D will go.

I have him as the best D in this draft class, but I could see a couple go higher because of more recent viewings coming into scouts minds.

Fair enough, I'm with you that this kid is going to be money. And of that list I would take him 1st. Well, except Reinhart, I think I would honestly just flip a coin wouldn't that be some entertainment seeing a GM just walk up to the podium "K, let's do this.. *ping* Heads Hart/Tails Trouba"
