Hey Dan, we used to live in Penticton. When our kids where young and playing soccer, the fields were close to the Canadian Helicopters training facility.

Every time the teams heard a chopper, they would stop, and the ball kept rolling. Break away or what ever, they stopped. I used to tell my kids, "if you hear a chopper, look for the ball and it's an easy goal"

Guess what they did, when they heard a chopper?

We laugh about it now

Only gave my kid poop in private for not competing, that's it. Never on the field or the ice, or in front of anyone.
