Well, to be honest, if they did wait, it would be the second time in the last twenty years that they decided to let a group of young core players mature together.

It's not as if they have had a rebuild and missed the playoffs for 8 years. They had a 100 point team playing 7 or 8 rookies regularly. Those young players are only likely to get better with another year under their belts.

They're not the Leafs selling Tyler Bozak or Matt Stajan as a future number one center.

I'm really hoping Nash and Luongo both end up with the Leafs. Two underachieving players playing for an underachieving team.

I hope somehow the Sarnia Sting kids get drafted to the same team. It would be nice watching them continue to grow together.

Last I hope the Flyers get Shea Weber. It's time to bring the bully back to Broad Street.
