Josh Harding has agreed to terms on a three-year, $5.7 million contract to stay in Minnesota. He expressed an interest to remain with the Wild if he could get a multi-year contract and that's exactly what the potential unrestricted free agent received. Harding played in 34 games with Minnesota this past season, while posting a 13-12-4 record with a .917 save percentage and a 2.62 goals-against average. He has struggled with injuries and consistency in his career, but can be a solid backup when he's healthy.

A report out of Finland is stating that Teemu Selanne will be back with the Anaheim Ducks for another season in 2012-13. Finnish media outlet, Veikkaaja, says that Selanne wants to be back with the Ducks and barring an injury setback, he will sign on for another tour of duty in the NHL. The 41-year-old winger is presently back in Finland, with his family, and he doesn't have any health issues and is working out. Anaheim hasn't heard anything yet though and Selanne is still expected to make his decision known by July 1.

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, the KHL is in a position to snatch up Winnipeg goaltender Ondrej Pavelec if the Jets can't work out a contract with the pending restricted free agent. Pavelec is reportedly seeking a multi-year deal at $4 million or higher per year. If he doesn't get that then it is likely he heads overseas. Winnipeg would probably be better off agreeing to those terms rather being forced to deal with the difficult scenario of a trade or a Russian defection.
