Lupul is no captain material (although I agree that he would be a better fit to be captain than Phaneuf).
To improve, you have to give something good away..
I do not expect Lupul to get more than 55points next season, his trade value is at its highest now..

whats he gonna do....strike? hes under contract...he can pout all the wants but when most teams are likely offering peanuts, Gillis may be hard pressed to move him for what guys like Burke are likely offering.

i personally dont know if he'll gave the same year he had last year, but over an 82 game season i can see him getting 65+ points.. not the PPG player he was last year, but still a good solid season
