Frattin, Ashton, Kulemin, Kadri all still need to develop and have shown grit in their games at times. Kadri not as much, but he plays a little gritty, more irratable than gritty, but still - noename09
I was taking draws, and I cant STOP myself from taking draws the way I was taught for ice hockey....to turn into the circle and shield the puck while drawing back....everytime I did it, it workd, but I got a solid stick to the shin
...that and theres the randow hack from the goalie while trying to get in his way etc etc
Ive played many sports for years, some rather competitively, and ball hockey is one of the hardest sports on my body ive ever experienced so far!!

something needs to happen to Kuli to make him mean. Guy is a beast physically, but just not a mean bone in his body. Closest flash we saw was when he went heat seaking missile on Kaleta when Kaleta had run Grabo earlier.
A little loose on the history. Murray, of course, was the primary architect of the Ducks. His decision to move in the direction if size and grit is consistent with his own pattern.
So, how do you explain the decision to move up and pick the little guy Karlsson? Pierre Dorion. - spatso
I've disagreed with the Murray vs. Burke thing a lot, but we'll steer clear of that. Murray has always been a size guy, yes. But it was when he was gifted the team from Muckler that in his press conference he basically said "we won't be pushed around anymore" and made the shift in philosophy from Muckler.
lol im 24!...I still play ice hockey and it dosnt wear me down HALF as much as ball hockey. Ball hockey is continuous running, no gliding, and when you want to make a move of some sort you need to keep your feet moving then run AROUND someone...if it dosnt work, you gotta run aaaall the way back
plus youre not wearning any equipment aside from helmet and gloves, so sticks to the body, cross checks, trips, getting run into the boards...all hurt MUCH more than ice hockey

I think we should see more physically from him in the next couple years...hes a strong kid, just needs to keep using it. Feel like Carlyle shoudl get him using his body more...he lost some of that when Wilson was forcing the speed on all his players.
I find it funny how many people say they do not want Grigs based on what they are hearing. You watch him play you will change that tune pretty quick. If he was Canadian we wouldn't even be having this discussion, he would be anointed as a can't miss.

if he was Canadian he wouldn't have some of the issues he has
we'd certainly know how (frank)ing old he is, and there would be zero risk of him fleeing to the KHL.
