Yah, Glad to take what I love from the Military and apply it to the Civilian sector.. woot woot, also the dept got in the new Ford Sgt Explorer and its friggin sweet. Thing is nice looking and is fast as hell. The dept is also getting the new Ford Tauris Police models in very shortly as well. - bigmookalookie
I'm still driving an old Crown Vic cruiser when I'm in uniform. Before my injury I was working in vice, and the Dept. supplied me with a pretty cool set of wheels. |

I agree with everything you said. People were giving me a hard time yesterday, saying if you have 1 drink you shouldnt drive at all. - RooNosHockey
If your pounding beers then driving, its is stupid really, but if are drink a beer at a slow pace and you are eating a meal, there is really no problem with it. In the end if you are responsible enough and mature enough to have a beer or two then drive, by all means its safe. It just requires you to montior how much your drinking and you have to be aware if you are ok to drive. |

Maybe you're cool with having them both on your team chewing up $9.3M in cap space. That's too much money for two "supposed" first line wingers that play essentially the same style imo.
I personally don't think Ryan is overrated. And when looking at making any kind of a deal such as this it's always about including replaceable players. - rockychocbill
It's never about a player being replaceable. You don't overpay for a player such as Ryan, because the players your giving up are deemed replaceable. You don't make that deal of Schenn, Read, and Bourdon, because you think some of them are replaceable. That's bad management. And with some of the trade proposals such as that one for Ryan, he is indeed overrated if you think that's a good deal. Ryan and JVR at 9.3, or Nash at 7.8? And why can't you have two players on the same team that play the same style?

Um, the problem is that alcohol impairs judgement, rendering someone to be unable to be aware if they are okay to drive.

understood, we just have differing views on how to get there, though i'm sure we both agree that significant improvement in the defensive play/awareness from our forwards will go a long way towards that, even if we don't add a dman this summer. - OrangeBlack27
Yes we can definitely agree on that.

Incorrect! I am perfectly capable of knowing when I should and shouldnt drive. I had 2 beers last night with my pops, and waited around 30 minutes after he left before driving. It's called being responcible. If you drink enough that it impares your judgement, then you have had too much to drink. And in my case that is a lot. |

Thought this was a good laugh, especially the Malkin reference at the end, . This in regards to LeBron James leg cramp, NHL players weren't exactly feeling very sympathetic

if nothing is workable for weber (or a similar big time d-man trade option) or schultz, i'd be happy with a one year deal with sami salo. i think he could be a nice, temporary fit |

It's not incorrect. Nothing wrong with having a couple over time and then driving home. You make my point by stating that for your judgement to be impaired it takes a lot. Guaranteed that your judgement and your ability to drive is impaired long before you think it is. And that's all I have to say about that.

I fully uderstand how alcohol works, as both a MP and I have alot of Alcohol awareness and Drinking and driving training. In the end you can drink a beer and as long you you drink it at a slow pace and eat food you will not be impaired. As I stated if you drink at a moderate pace you will be good to drive. Its not like once you drink one beer you are drunk and everything is thrown out the window, for some yes one beer and obiterate you but some can handle a beer and drive safely. |

Im so gangsta im so gangsta.......I wish some of them would do something besides going to clubs and shooting themselves or involved in illegal activities. The reason im in to hockey is because it truly has the best nicest people playing a game. I remember practicing at the coliseum and having recci sign my poop. never forget it. You wont find as many bumholes in hockey as you do in those two sports. |

Hoods with money. The worst kind.
Do we see baseball and hockey players bringing guns in the locker room? Punching fans? Raping? Drug possession? DUIs?
I feel sorry for kids that idolize these thugs.
Idolize Giroux. That's a role model. That's an athlete. Or Jagr. Or Talbot. Lapperiere. Thome.
Not Kobe or Lebron or Big Ben. |
